I'm one of those people that always rate their songs. Most of the time because I prefer to listen to my favorite music on my iPod when running on the streets. But for me it was just too much effort to open iTunes and rate the song that is currently playing. That is why I developed Funes. An easy to use application that lets me choose the rating by clicking the stars in the status menu.
You use the application by clicking the Funes-icon in the status menu. You can see the current playing song and the current rating. By clicking a star you select a new rating. It's just that simple! Did I mention it's freeware?
It's a very simple program to use, just click on the status menu item and a submenu opens. This submenu contains the current playing song, the current rating, an update option and the Quit button.
When you click a star you immediately set the new rating. When you want to set no rating you just click the first star twice and the song isn't rated any more.
Funes will ask you to look for updates when it's first started but you can manually trigger this with the ‘Check for Updates...’ option if you like.
Because I'm a very big fan of free software, this one is on the house!
